Back Link and Search Engine Optimization
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the scientific reasoning behind linking a web site found through a search engine. To do this is free and therefore preferred in most cases. The initial search could be anything, from video, pictures, to any other general web browsing.
SEO was coined by a group of market researchers working for clientele, meeting the search engine optimization needs of vast scales. The HTML (or web address) is the only part that needs special attention, and it is being met by integrating the SEO into the construction of the website itself, or its overall design. Overall, the goal of search engine optimization has been to streamline the world wide web of information, so that one can easily find relevant information at the rapid click of a mouse.
A second important service to search engine optimization is link building. In essence, link building is the bridge that connects your SEO to the articles we magically find listed on Google, Yahoo, and so forth. However, it is a tedious job many webmaster dreads doing. Yet without link building, we would return to the wooden card catalog at the public library for research on anything, (such as search engine optimization or link building, most likely to be found in science fiction!). But, long before we ever had search engine optimization, we were at the mercy of back links. Back links were the incoming links to a website, and the only source of web browsing until the creation of SEO.
The number of back links resulted in the popularity of the website. Therefore in essence, it is “page ranked” in the importance of the site in accuracy. Page ranking is the mathematical method that utilizes probability to determine an estimate of how many people will land on a single web page. The idea is not hypothetical, though in theory it sounds that way. In order to determine the page rank, the total number of back links are tallied. The tallied page ranks are then revealed to show the popularity (or accuracy in a sense) of the website.
To find a fair page rank conclusion, all search engine optimizations are taken into consideration and have their back links measured equally. Another way to receive a high page rank is to have a large number of page information attached to the initial website found by the search engine optimization. Each SEO is given a numerical value on a scale of 0-10 (10 being the highest) assigned by the webmasters of Google. There has been evidence of misguided page ranks, but extensive research has been conducted over the years to ensure optimal page ranks today.
Overall, the world wide web of technology has come quite a ways from the industrial sized hard drive servers that ran dial up internet from Macintosh PC’s. Wireless internet found in coffee shops and restaurants were topics we once researched in the science fiction department of our local libraries, only by way of card cataloging. As webmasters progress through the field, we can expect higher page ranks on websites found through search engine optimizations. Hopefully, link building will one day be streamlined or at least invent itself! But until then, a round of applause and appreciation goes towards our SEO webmasters.
